Niseko 2.0 is the updated version of the original Niseko. This incredibly warm, incredibly durable, and incredibly lightweight snow boot will make you fall in love the second you open up the box. The strong EVA outer shell, in combination with the soft polyester liner, makes the boot difficult to compete with in terms of both comfort and isolation. Design-wise, the boot has been inspired by traditional, northern Japanese road worker/commercial fishing boots. In other words, although worn all year round by some people, this is definitely a boot made for harsh, snowy weather conditions.

Sizing:

STEP 1.
Place a piece of white paper on a flat surface, preferably pressed against a wall. Stand on the paper with your heel touching the wall and place a mark at the tip of your longest toe. Measure the distance between the edge of the paper and the mark you placed.

STEP 2.
Look at the columns below in the size chart and pick the size that corresponds to the length of your feet. Since the boots run small, it's not uncommon to end up at a size that is larger than your usual size. People on the lower side of the scale tend to size up two sizes. People on the middle to the upper side of the scale tend to size up one size.

Cleaning:

STEP 1.
To clean the outside of your boots, use a soft sponge, some mild detergent/soap, and water. Scrub the boots until they shine!

To clean the inside of your boots, use a lightly moistured towel (preferably white). Wipe the inside of the boots gently.

STEP 2.
Once cleaned out, leave the boots to dry. This could take a day or two. Whatever you do, don't use a direct heat source. Direct heat sources and your FUBUKIs are not best friends. Never place them in front of an electric heater/radiator, an open fire, in an electric drying cabinet or in a window that gets plenty of sun on a hot day. If your boots happen to be soaking-wet, you could consider using a boot dryer.

When they have dried out, spray the inside of the boots with some antibacterial shoe spray and leave to “rest”.

Before Kalle found himself stacking pallets of boots in his student apartment, he took a ski trip to one of the snowiest places on Earth: Hokkaido, Japan. In fact, the Japanese language uses over 100 words to describe snow. FUBUKI translates to snowstorm, and it’s fitting that, on a stormy day while skiing overhead pow, Kalle discovered the unique, unbranded, waterproof winter boots that all the lifties and locals wore.

This was the humble origin of FUBUKI, though the company nor the name did not yet exist. Since the company’s inception, the boots have been designed for people who spend their entire day, and often a greater portion of their lives, on snow. And hidden in plain sight, on the feet of every down-to-earth local in the snowiest place on the planet, stood two fundamental tenets that would shape FUBUKI:
